They mistreated my child for no reason. The assistant principal, Brock, is horrible and should be runned out of town along with some unqualified teachers.
Student (2005-2009) This school has a great Biology and Social Studies department, specifically Biology, Economics, and AP Gov't. I currently attend Valdosta State University (VSU) as a double major in Spanish/French with a minor in Psychology and GCHS foreign language deparment helped tremendously with my comprehension of Spanish once I began my college curriculm. The English department at GCHS should definitely include more writing in their curriculm. Although reading is very important, the first two English classes that most students in college take requires them to write a large amount. The staff at GCHS is highly qualified and most are motivated and have your child's best interest at heart. All in all, GCHS will prepare your child for most college classes in their future no matter where they decide to attend.
