Poor, my grandchild phone was taken from her by her teacher, no one informed her father that it was taken, they kept it locked in a drawer for over a week because someone was out sick, no one had a key to open the drawer to get the phone out, she had to wait until the lady came back to open the drawer, who does not have a spare key to open a desk drawer? The whole office of Jonesboro Middle school is the answer. I hope this is a learning experience to the office staff to have a spare key for all of the teacher desks. I am disappointed that no adult call her father to let him know that her phone was taken and if he was trying to reach her it was because they took it. the purpose of a child having a phone is to keep in contact with the parent in case of a emergency. Thank God she did not have one while she didn't have her phone.

Great leadership and teachers care about students. The school used to be the lowest scoring in the county NI-4 and is now on the reward school list.

I worked at this school for two years as a special education teacher and found it to be a complete nightmare. The kids were horribly behaved, very low academically, and even violent towards teachers. The administration literally locked themselves in a dark room with no windows and pretended they weren't there. Avoid this school at all costs! It's horribly for students and adults!

I think this school is moving in the right direction, but more structure and student activities need to be in place. Technology is plentiful, but everyone needs to get on the same page with each other especially administrators. Teacher morale is still low, and many have left as a result. The kids are GREAT, but need more guidance. Parents need to be more involved in a positive way instead of being concerned about toys and electronic devices.
