Not really a good school with knowledge teachers

The teachers at Gwin Oaks are experienced, innovative and have so far been a pleasure to work with. We've been a part of the Gwin oaks family for the last 4 years and appreciate the continued focus on strong academic excellence, inclusion and diversity. Not to mention the wonderful parents who actively volunteer and show up day in and day out. I can't say much about the administration as I haven't interacted with them. Overall though, Gwin Oaks is a great place to send your child.

Graduation ceremony this year was a very bad experience for some kids because they didn't receive any awards. They were crying after ceremony and teachers and principals never said anything about it. Kids are Kids and you always must encourage them to be successful no matter what happened during year. Principal told me that it's too late to talk about it, Never is too late to motivate kids to move forward to next level, you never know what happened to those kids during the year even at home that made them not to be able to reach their goals. Parents and teachers... Kids are the future of this wonderful Country called America.

I'm a new parent to Gwin Oaks and my son in kindergarten is loving every bit of going to school. Thus far, I must say his teacher has being excellent and I don't have any complaints about other staff of the school. All the staff members are friendly, attentive, cares about their students and appears to love their job. Fantastic neighborhood, friendly families and a great school, what more could I ask for. The school is diverse, I have seen parents from different cultural background and ethnicity relate and get along very well.
