Teachers and staff are very nice but the kids at the school like to make fun of other kids, because of how they look, how they dress and just simply because they feel to bully somebody!

This is my sons second year at knight elementary. He finishes first grade today and he has absolute enjoyed having Kelsey Lanham. Throughout the year I have been able to communicate with her about my son’s progress and she was always willing to listen, make suggestions and has always praised him. He has done extremely well in her class and was able to get into the gifted program. Where some teachers might over react with some students due to some types of behavior (not raising hand, talking out of turn) she never made a huge deal about it, had she he may not have prospered so well in her class. If you have an option of having her as your child’s 1st grade teacher, I would definitely recommend having her as their teacher. I am glad that Lanham was a great fit for my son and strongly believe she was a big part of his success at school and wanting to learn. Thank you so very much.

We got really lucky with finding this school. It has a small, intimate feel with under eight hundred students, and theres lots of diversity. It also manages to uphold extremely high standards for its students while avoiding the cutthroat competitiveness most other schools of its caliber get tangled in.

My son received scholarships to two private schools. We toured them, of course, and my husband insisted that I at least LOOK at our neighborhood public school. After doing so, I felt that I couldn't, in good conscience, send him to private. Knight has better resources, better facilities, better, more experienced staff, a clearer curriculum and more diversity. We have had a fabulous experience here, and he receives top quality accelerated programs with meaningful citizenship lessons. The only thing its missing is pretentious consumerism. We heart Knight.
