Locust Grove Middle School

We love LG middle! Our boys thrive wuite well there!

My child attended this school for sixth grade. We will homeschool in seventh because I know we can do better. Lack of communication, some lessons in science and social studies are completely wrong, CNN is used as a resource!

It’s a poor experience. The grading system is laughable. On a 100 point scale a 70% is a D. Silly concept. In college 70% is a C. This is not going to make a student make better grades it’s just hurting GPA. The fact that there are no books or reference tools except Google. Yes google. Your kids are doing research using Google. Teachers are half teaching material. Teachers are giving and guiding only particular students by given them only tools and information to pass/succeed. This information is not equally shared if you are not friends with teachers or your family isn’t. Teachers spend time playing and goofing around with students and ignoring the quiet, polite, nice kids. They ignore the kids that ask for help and tell them to google it. It’s truly sad to see.
