Norcross High School

The atmosphere of the school is timid and lacks equality in academics and athletics. Used to be a well sought out school but now, there are far too many other options out there.

Not very good, freshmen year was great, however; I’ve had bad encounters with teachers, the school doesn’t have very clean bathrooms, and I wish the overcrowding proble could be fixed.

My sons were both involved with the Band program and have gone on to study music in college - both receiving scholarships. Although there is too much focus on athletics at this school, having IB and such a strong music program was invaluable to their education.

The school is all about sports, they even have a very large "arena style" score board in their baseball field. Many students get away with very vile acts and teachers tend to not bat an eye to these occurrences. The bathrooms are not maintained well at all and in general, GCPS school portions are very small. Also the school is over crowded with 3000+ students and 30+ outdoor trailers.
