I have been working with the teachers, volunteering in class projects, been room-mom from Kindergarten to 5th and my youngest son is in 4th. I am sure I will miss this school with all the great teachers and stuff.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this school! I cannot say enough about Principal Jones and the teachers we had. If you can get Melissa Sanford (now married with different last name, you will LOVE her). The kids do lots of fun art projects and have one framed at the end of the year for $25 purchase. Such a great keepsake fundraiser idea. Teachers are genuinely caring and my son still speaks of his RTI writing teacher Mrs. Mutzburg a full year after an out of state move. She is the standard for him! We had the best school experience ever here and I was so sad we only got to stay for one year before moving out of state. Keep up the good work Roberts Elementary!

We moved from Virginia just in time for my children to begin school here. My youngest was starting Kindergarten and my oldest, 1st grade. My kindergartener was very shy, and did not like to be around crowds or strangers, he would get very nervous. His teacher helped him open up so much and I can't believe the difference from the beginning of the year to the end of the year. He is more outgoing, and laughs a lot at school. They have noticed the areas he struggles in and have given him the resources he needs to excel. My first grader has a wonderful teacher as well! She is truly amazing and really shows an interest in him. She quickly recognized his strengths and helps him build and perfect those as well as his weaknesses. The entire front office staff is all so amazing as well. My children started school on the second day of school, my youngest never rode the school the bus and my oldest didn't see him on the bus. So, we waited at the stop for both the kids to get off and I only had 1 child instead of 2. I called his name and yelled for my youngest but he did not answer me and I did not see him. I immediately raced to the school and told the teachers outside that I was missing a child and she quickly ran to the office with me and we explained to the staff what was going on, I couldn't find my baby! They immediately, without hesitation, began to get on the walkie talkies, phones, etc. His teacher rushed to the office and next thing you know there are about 5-6 office staff trying to keep me calm while looking for my baby. this was the longest 5 minutes of my life! They got the bus driver and he said, he's still on the bus and i'm bringing him to the school now. I was so relieved. When he got off the bus at the school he was all smiles and laughter. He said he didn't see us, or his brother and didn't know his stop. We just moved to the area and he wasn't so familiar with it and he was very nervous. I am very very pleased with this school all the way around. The parent involvement is excellent as well.

We bought our forever home in this particular school district and it was one of the best decisions ever. I have two daughter at Roberts and my third daughter will be there next year. I absolutely love my kids' teachers. The teachers and administrators are fantastic. The school environment is so encouraging. I love that the theme is "future college graduates". I went to private school as a child and I wanted my kids to go to a excellent public school. Roberts E. is it.
