This school is more worried about looking good over the other schools than teaching our kids skills they need to feel like a success

This is the WORST school in Fayette County. I have children that attend this school and had I have know how bad this school had become I would have never bought a home here. The principal, Mr. Hunter is never in his office and does not return phone calls. I have had nothing but problems and can't seem to find anyone in that school that really truly cares. They have fights daily and recently had a student get a hand job in the cafeteria. The racial tension is out of control and its not just with the students. This school is a joke!

I believe parental involvement is the key to succeeding in any school, public or private. My child has had a good experience at Sandy Creek and within Fayette County. The majority of her teachers have been good, specifically after the understand the buy in shown by my husband and I. To often we blame the school, however we must all become more engaged in the education process of our children and their friends. We moved to Tyrone because of the sense of community and we purposely engage in the betterment of the Town, by encouraging all of our children's friends perform with excellence.
