Mackeben Elementary School

AMAZING. Wish all schools in America were this good...

Our twin son and daughter just finished their 2nd grade in McKaben. It has been a great experience for them as well as us. They have been very lucky with their teachers and academically they have done great in their classes. Our kids and us would like to say a great thank you to their teachers: Ms Hauffee, Mrs Haas, and Mrs Hopp.

Mackeben is a great school, very focused on academics, even in kindergarten. The only thing that makes me unhappy is that the K-2 graders only get 15 minutes to eat lunch, so my son can't finish more than a sandwich and comes home STARVING after school. If they would just give the kids 1/2 hour to eat, my rating would be five stars.

My child attended Kindergarten this year and I am happy about how much he has learned. We did work on some of the skills at home to reinforce them as I believe is very important. His reading and writing are great. Can't wait to see what first grade will bring!
