Stevenson Elementary School

I Feared public school. Then I decided to take my daughter over to this public school . AMAZING. Mrs. Kay the principal really runs the school with great pride. She loves all the kids and it shows. She was very welcoming and so was the staff. They have top notch teachers and a great leader. I was reading some of the post. It upsets me that parents would say such terrible things about this school. They must have not followed the rules. One thing a school in general hates is a parent who complains. The school has alot of kids and if there programs are limited it might be because of budget issues, I mean it is a Chicago public school. As for myself and child we are happy. I wish she went here sooner. This school doesnt need an open house just stop in like I did, they are happy to show you around and explain how the school day goes. Its clean, the staff is well mannered and the principal is the best there is. Stevenson proud.

Great school! Stevenson has teachers that care and really want their students to succeed! They go the extra mile and they teach to the whole child!

I am a current 6th grade student at this school.This school is a great school for kids.The teachers are nice and fun but they do wat they have to.Lots of learning goes on.I been at this school since i was little.This school is a magnet school has P.E,Lib,Computers, it also has lots of afterschool activities and sports.I love this school one thing though you alway need to do your work.This school helps students learn ther are also special ed
