Dakota Jr Sr High School

I had a pretty solid experience. I was not a sporty kid, and there is a lot of bullying and nepotism, but there are some really good teachers here. It's the best school in the area, I would say. Definitely better than Freeport.

Horrible school, If anyone is possibly thinking about moving to the area please find a private school school for your children to attend. The school is full of bullies, including several of the teachers, management refuses to do anything about it. Stay away for the safety and mental well being of your children. My son has been at the Dakota school district since 2010 he is now a senior.certain kids get preferential treatment . This would be kids of teachers,kids who`s parents have money,kids who do well in sports,kids who`s parents are well known in the community.I have seen how this district discriminates against some students.

My son got a F in science only because he had to go to Miss.Blooms office while the rest of the lesson was being teacher. And the school said OK we,all change it and never Did!
