Highland Elementary School

My three children love this school. My oldest thinks it’s noticeably better than her previous school. Great place for children to learn and grow academically and social/emotional skills.

Excellent school. When we enrolled here the school was a 10. Then the teachers did not take the ratings exam seriously. Now they are, so we feel that the ratings are on their way back up to 10 where they belong.

Awesome school. Both of our kids graduated from Highland and Herrick and are excelling at DGN. To the poster who gave Highland 1 Star (see below).... learn how to spell "discipline", before complaining about it...

The teachers are good, although many are green. The problem with this school is the parents. They are forcing their kids to go here and creating overcrowding. Somehow this school has given people a false perception that it is better than the other district schools but that is wrong. I wish the parents on the West side of Highland would grow up and do whats better for thier kids and move them to a less crowded school.
