This school needs a more diverse teaching staff. In recent years there has become a more ethnic diversity in Evergreen Patk which means there are minority's students of all ethnic backgrounds that attend this school. However, the entire teaching staff if Caucasian. Children of other races don't see teachers that look like them which causes a lack of understanding different cultures which is key to a great school. The teachers and staff say they want parents to be involved with their child's educational journey while at the school, yet the teachers don't contact the parents when a child might be falling behind in certain subjects. They wait until the semester is over and then discuss why a student's grade is below standards. If the teachers would communicate with the parents ahead of time I strongly feel the child's academuc challenges would improve. Overall, this school is okay but they need to seriously look at the diversity or lack thereof of their teaching staff!!!

Evergreen Park High School is phenomenal. It is a community school. The parents and staff care about the children and know the staff. There is a zero tolerance policy. I love it. It keeps the children, staff and community in today's world. Go Mustangs!

This is a great "All-American" high school. They have put a great deal of money into modernizing the school in recent years. The faculty are very supportive and really care about the success of the students. This school deserves way more credit than it gets; I encourage residents to take a second look at EPHS especially if you haven't seen it in a while.
