Flossmoor Hills Elementary School

My experience at FH has been great! Making school choices was one of the most difficult choices I’ve made, to-date, for my child because education is extremely important to me. I couldn’t be happier with my choice to send my child to FH. The environment is very family friendly. All of the staff, from the front office to the teachers, appear to be very engaged and committed to the school’s and the students’ success. Over the years, I’ve grown very comfortable in knowing that, in my absence, my son is safe and supported at school. Additionally, he’s grown a lot academically and continues to be challenged. My son has participated in extracurricular activities such as Chess and STEM Club, which have helped to reinforce skillsets like critical thinking in a fun way. After previously considering private schools and other public school options, I am confident and reassured that I made the best choice in sending my child to FH. He loves his school and I do too!

The principal, the teachers and the parents are very interested in the children's education. My granddaughter is very enthusiastic about going to school and learning...She can already identify many basic words. She can count to 100 +, and she's learning to read the books she bring home.

My niece attends Flossmoor Hills Elementary School. I am very impressed with the school in general and the fact that she has been afforded the opportunity to use the IPAD provided by the school to advance her technical skills. She likes the school, her classmates, teachers and on several occasions during the summer said she "couldn't wait for school to start". That in itself speaks volumes for the school!!!

Flossmoor Hills is a hidden gem of a school. Communication between parents, teachers, and administrators is top notch. My 5th grader has an enthusiastic teacher Michele Jeros. This is her 3rd year there, and her previous teacher, Mrs. Davis was also very hands on and personable. I am very satisfied with Flossmoor Hills.
