We moved to Frankfort for the schools and we weren't disappointed. Had we limited our school search based on GreatSchools reviews, we may have been led astray. I recommend all parents to check out illinoisreportcard for school rankings based on real factors, like test scores, performance scores, student and teacher retention, student and teacher demographics and other quantifiable metrics. My child requires some special education assistance. This school is fully equipped with teachers who are highly trained, loving and patient. This cultivates a safe environment for the kids to have the best learning environment and to build friendships. The front office is VERY organized and warm and the school is very protective of its students safety. The winter school program goes off without a hitch. The music teacher is fantastic and encourages a love for music by being enthusiastic himself. You can tell he loves his job (like many off the other teachers we've encountered). This may seem minor, but as a parent who works full time, I appreciate that this program starts and ends on time.Thank you to all the teachers and staff who spend their days teaching and showing love to my child. You are appreciated.

This school is WONDERFUL! The principal, teachers, support staff go out of there way to make sure my son has the best learning experience. 1st grade curriculum is well directed, all encompassing and encourages/motivates children in learning.

The school is changing, it is not as good as it use to be. The class sizes are larger and some of the children are not getting the level of education and or supervision they deserve. The school can use an assistant principal and two kidergarten teacher's instead of one. Communication is good with the principal but, sometimes I felt like I was just blowing wind in the air.

My son has nothing but good things to say about this school. The teachers are GREAT!
