Worst learning establishment I've ever had to attend.

I feel that the Freeport Dist.145 is a great school and has alot to offer. I have found most negative comments made concerning the school district are from people attending Aquin. Until you yourself or your children attend the school, you don't know what you're talking about. It would be best to keep your comments private just like your less than perfect school .

Although the electives are amazing, I feel that the honors classes are pathetic. There are people in them who really shouldn't be and it slows down everyone else's progress. Also, most of the teachers really don't interact with students. However, the ones that do are OUTSTANDING teachers. The school is disgusting though because some of the janitors apparently don't like to work and dress codes are hardly enforced and there are excessive amounts of PDA in the hallways. There is also not enough time to go to your locker and get to certain classes. (Going from the Jr. High to Winker's room?! It's crazy.) Now that we have the minute bell gone, getting to class on time has become even more difficult. Overall, this school really isn't very great at all and the only reason I'm staying is for the variety of electives and the three outstanding teachers that i've had.
