Winston Churchill School

I was there for kindergarten and first grade and it was awesome!!i lived 2 blocks away and walked to and from.

Churchill is and will be 1# in my book. The school district is WONDERFUL, my children attended / attends all of district 153, my children academics are outsight, with the help ,love , and concern for these children that the staff gives makes each and everyone of these children wantto attend school everyday !

Defying all the odds and battling budget cutbacks, this public elementary school for third and fourth grade is simply extraordinary. Great teachers. Great principal. Great school climate and culture. Turns out great kids! A nurturing, caring home away from home, especially for those youngsters with troubled family situations.

The teachers at Winston Churchill really care about every one of those kids. Every morning and during dismissal the Principal, Assistant Principal, and teachers are out on the grounds making sure all children are safe.
