As a parent, i love that Highlands gets kids the help they need right away. Teachers, staff and administration have always been helpful and get you the needed information in a quickly and timely manner. I have had great experiences at this school.
As a parent and former student of the school, I can easily say that this is one of the most caring and efficiently run schools you will find anywhere. Fantastic teachers that really do care about the students and a very involved community. Definitely not snobby. Proud I went to school here and that my kids do too! Go Hornets!
This school has been such a wonderful place for my children. The teachers/administration are incredibly attentive and caring. My son has some special needs and they go above and beyond to give him all of the extra help that he needs. The students are also very friendly, not snobby at all. I feel as though the school is always striving to be the best it can be and they expect the best of their students in return.
This is an absolutely wonderful place for kids in all respects. The teachers were unbelievably committed to teaching the students. My son always had excellent helpful teachers. My son graduated recently from Highlands Elementary and Middle schools and the best thing we ever did was move into this school district. We never had an issue with clicks or bullying as the other reviewer stated. In fact, it is a school where there is considerable parental involvement. The Middle School principal is just the best!!!! He is highly involved with the students and spends countless hours being a great principal. My son always had lots of friends an as far as I could tell I never heard of students having difficulty with other students. My son loved going to LaGrange Highlands.
