Half Day School

Terrific, supportive, and encouraging for my child.

Very bad elementary school for young kids. Teacher don’t teach anything just kill time day after day. But they leave all the real teaching to parents. Not avoid failing those tests at school, parents have to send kids to tutoring school or look for private tutor. They let kids keep their eyes on iPad screen all day long to save their work! Teachers don’t care about the needs of individual students. This school is joke. The high academic scores are the result of parents paying for the tutors for their kids.

My son and I actually chalked up 3rd grade as a bum school year. He struggled with everything and I didn't know how bad until the parent teacher conference. Why? Because everything was electronic. Nothing came home with my son everything was done online. The teacher expected them to submit all their homework online. We struggled to make sure we had access to everything and to make sure we checked the webpage. Forth grade was much better but we still struggled a lot. They demand a lot of parent involvement which is great but if you are a single, working Mom its really hard to find the time they are asking for. The student counselor is great and worked hard to help my son with his transition issues.

This is a great school with a highly educated staff who is dedicated to providing the best education for each student. They are responsive to parents, and in turn, parents are very involved in making the home-school connection strong. A fabulous administration also adds to making the two years at this school a memorable and positive experience.
