Horrible, The teachers have no Idea what they are doing half the time and are affecting my GPA.

My two children graduated from KHS, both put in the time and effort to be successful students. Over the years, more AP classes have been added to the curriculum. There's a wide variety of clubs, sports and activities available. The performing arts programs are thriving. The math program is solid and the science program improved immensely over the past few years. I can speak of these two programs since both of my children are majoring in those areas. The current administration is effective and responsive.

if you do the school says you are disrespecting an adult.

We have had two children pass through this school district, and we have been very pleased. Some of the reviews are opposite of what I would say. I think Kaneland has a very strong math program all the way through. Science program had been disappointing, but improved tremendously, (to put it lightly), by the time our youngest graduated recently. Reading and writing are good, but not consistent from teacher to teacher. That is the area that still needs work, in my opinion. We had excellent interaction and response from teachers and/ or administration when it was called for - never experienced disrespect or complacency from the staff at all. Parent involvement is good in elementary schools, and diminishes at the higher grades. Both of our children were adequately prepared for college level learning, (one at a private college and one at a Big 10 university). An observation about this school district is that it caters to every type of student, quite literally. The range between the top performing students and the bottom performing students is vast, for a multitude of reasons.
