I loved it! Met some awesome friends that I hope I keep in contact with, the teachers I had were all great and helped when I was struggling and were all super kind. I took AP courses and Gen. Ed. courses my junior year and all the teachers (AP and Non-AP) were supportive and taught the class, they didn't just assign useless worksheets or have us read something, they taught us, I'm glad I went to Guilford. To be frank, I'd attended Guilford as a college if that was a thing. These other reviews that say the staff and teachers don't care about students is completely false, staff are always talking with students and having conversations with us. I haven't had many with staff, but I always see them talking with students.I can't speak on parent involvement, I've never seen any kind of events that would require it, but I'm sure if you talked with administration that you wanted to volunteer, they could always use someone to run concessions at games, or to sell spirit wear.(I feel like these negative reviews are from kids that are just on their phones all the time and get in trouble for it and don't pay attention -_-)

the teachers don't really care about the students, mostly the principle. the only thing they care about is the reputation of the school.

Guilford has proven a friendly and encouraging environment for students to learn and succeed. I have been impressed with staff in the building. Teachers are engaging, creative in their instruction, and fun.
