i love this school. i am going on to high school next school year and i am going to miss it so much. we have great teachers that will push you to your limits , and offer tons of help before, after school and during lunch. we have a "club" after school where teachers, and highschool students come to tutor kids, we can use the computers,do homework, retake, or finish exams. there are fights, and conflicts, but what middle school doesnt have that? we have an AMAZING wind symphonic program. i love the musical and artistic opportunities lukancic has to offer. we have concert band, beginning band, jazz band, marching band, music classes, drama, and choir. we have wonderful directors that push you and guide you to be your best. i have had a wonderful time participating in all of these programs. the students here have their cliques but that's normal. we get along, accept each other, and help each other learn. the one thing i will say is that lukancic tends to show all of their appreciation to things such as volleyball, basketball, and drama. nothing else is much appreciated at all. i have seen amazing things done by people in other programs. but i love it here so much

I moved to romeoville last year and have to say the school is great. The teachers care about the students. They are quick to inform you if your children are starting to slip in class and communicate regularly with the parents either by e mail or phone calls. They are active in sports and the coaches care just as much as the teachers. It's education first with them. Both of my sons are honor roll students. I would highly recommend this school to anyone living in the area.
