We've had a great experience. Teachers are great. Admin attentive and accommodating... And no, we don't do sports or take tests well. But, my Son respects the teachers and causes no issues and adds to the conversation. I'm not dumbfounded about some of the experiences people shared here, but I think you need to look at how you will handle a situation (demeanor, caring, saying, thank you and following up diligently) to help direct the outcome....

I went to Roscoe Middle School, and I loved it! All the teachers were so friendly and not at all biased in any direction, and I made such special connections among the teachers, staff, and other students. I learned so much, and the teachers were incredibly helpful. They paid attention to each students's needs and personalities, and understand that fish aren't made to climb trees. Most of the teachers are lighthearted and love to joke around, and have fun in the classroom while having students hands-on apply things they've learnt to real life.

Will habitually contact Department of Family Services on families for every minor bump, bruise, scratch or scrape. Excessive amount of weekday and weekend home work assignments, Detentions, Detention Detention for every minor inconceivable infraction imaginable. Staff will highly recommend you medicate your children to address basic kid issues. School district is more interested in teaching your children how to pass state tests so they can receive more state money. Hope you have a lot of vacation, lots of days off for teachers for all those P/T conferences. Finally its never their problem or fault. Just wait, you'll see.

I have the worst taste in my mouth because of RMS. My child bullied for all 3 years of attending. The staff did nothing to help them. it came to the point where they are now in intensive therapy still in the sophomore year at Hononegah. The teachers are too hard on the kids and have set unrealistic expectations of 11-13 year olds. Utterly ridiculous to have your child come home crying because a teacher has called them stupid in the classroom. A walking travesty of a educational environment. I have never been more disappointed in grown adults. These teachers bully and pick on students for not being capable to answer. My child had an undiagnosed disability in math and they made life hell. As teachers and educators, aren't you supposed to help students who struggle?
