I would rate this school as a 2/5 because it's still a school, but the curriculum is extremely poor. Another review described in very well: You don't learn anything in the literacy classes. No matter how many times you bring up this issue, teachers just tell you that you are wrong. Recently, I moved schools because of the issues at this school and I didn't even realize how bad it was until I moved. There actually is more to learn! Bullying can actually be prevented!! Family events and school community events can be set up!!! In conclusion, if you have the choice to send your child to a different school and are reading this review relatively close to when it was written, I'd consider other schools. I currently attend a nearby private school and things have been exceptional so far.

As a former student, I think it's a pretty nice school. Most of the teachers are kind with a good sense of humor. There are a couple who aren't as great, but still pretty cool. It's a really small school though, and the halls are just a wee bit crammed during passing periods. However, I previously attended a middle school outside the state, and during the last months of sixth grade at MMS, I felt it was basically all review from the fifth grade. But maybe it was just different standards. Gym was always really fun, especially during flag football and floor hockey. Still, in my literacy class in eighth grade, I didn't feel as if I was learning anything, but maybe it was just my class.
