Every since the restructuring during the 2013-2014 school year, the opportunities for students and their achievement have soared! Students went from 2 specials to 6 (PE, Art, Music, Computers, Library, and RW Lab), have new curriculum for reading and math, and have an intervention and enrichment block each day to fill learning gaps or to challenge students. Over the past three years, the percent of students achieving typical growth has exceeded the national average and the achievement gap is closing.

There are 17 students in my child's classroom to One teacher. Moreover, there is no music class for 4th graders .I do believe that the teachers are as effective as they can be with only a Master's degree. Considering the over-demanding expectations in academics combined with limited time. However, I like that the school is still somewhat small enough to recognize and become familiar with the students as well as the parents. Also, parental involvement is exercised here.
