Barbara B Rose Elementary School

We moved to South Barrington for this elementary school. Our family has been a part of the Rose family for 10 years. My 1st and 2nd child have excelled in this environment and the teachers are always willing to work on any problem areas with them. The PTO is great! They do so much for our kids and the staff members. They are very inclusive and this was not always the case in past years.

It has been terrible. Sad as we had other children with past leadership and it was a good journey but this year with this principal and she is terrible. Lack of communication if any. Terrible follow up. Blatant factual differences make me happy we had more than one person to witness the situation. Incidents the teacher even had to correct the principal on or the child would have even been worse off. The PTO is out of control and abusive. If they like your child they will be included and if not it will quickly be an issue.

School does a great job of focus on academic as well as character development. They need to just have some better resources to help kids who have some learning differences. Overall very good
