South Beloit Jr High School

The school is located in a dingy, unkempt downtown area. It is very old. The classrooms smell and are wildly out-of-date. In many classrooms there is barely a whiff of technology. The playground is very old and backs up to a butcher/meat store which also smells. The students are average at best and the teachers are as well. (Evidence of this may be noted by detecting the numerous spelling, punctuation and grammatical errors in a post by a teacher of the district in a review dated February 14, 2013). South Beloit Jr. High School is an average experience with an average education. If you aspire to send your child to a 4/10 rated school, then this is the place for you. Home property values barely ever exceed $125,000 on average for the most expensive house in South Beloit. You will be far better off in the Prairie Hill School District which boasts a 10/10 rating. The property values are also much higher on average in the Prairie Hill School District.

The other review is out dated, The school have a new principal, dean of students, and secretary. All of the faculty is very kind and helpful with anything you need. Unlike in the old review the staff is very aware of all of the students who attend the school. The teachers are the best of the best making sure everyone of the students knows the curriculum. I would never want my child going any where else for there education than SBCUSD 320. Also a lot of renovations have been done to the building on the outside and the inside. The technology has also been advanced in the school, all the class rooms have new SMART Projectors and a VIZIO sound bar. The school also has 3 computer labs. The academic experience at this school is best as it could be.
