Like someone said below the 6th grade team was great, however if you are not one of the well known families or you child is not a superstar at sports good luck. That school took every bit of confidence from my daughter. She went from loving to being at school from 5th grade which she was in a different school district to 8th grade never wanting to go crying everyday before school because she felt so alone there. Mind you my daughter is a straight A student and received the presidential award for her class but was not a super star at sports so she was not excepted. There is so much depression at this school it is unreal and it is not addressed because its not the right group of kids that need the help. OPEN YOUR EYES STILLMAN AND SEE ALL OF YOUR KIDS AS GREAT NOT JUST THE ONES WHO PLAY SPORTS. Might get you a title now but sports in the future to these kids will not help the their grades will.
All the teachers are so nice and so is mrs.davis !!!! I love meridian so much!!!!!!!
