From a parents perspective, I am very concern with Streamwood High school . My daughter recently transferred to this school and she is already lost all motivation she had in finishing high school. The school has no follow up when it comes to attendance and discipline. I called to talk about my concerns in regards to getting some guidance for my daughter and in return she got bullied by the school's dean and made her feel like she was just complaining. The little they offer, they don't encourage kids to use it to their advantage. An example of that is the tutoring service. They don't even posted on the students website portal. Students do what ever they want in Streamwood high school. As beautiful and friendly the Streamwood village is, they should offer a much better education system than what do now.

Not that great, if I could grade it I’d give Streamwood High School a C-. The disorganized operation, unanswered email, and lock downs make a higher grade impossible.

I found myself in this school. During middle school I was a coward, frightful, and constantly being ignored or bullied for my shyness. Starting my fourth year here I can honestly say I changed for the better; I gained more confidence, strength and a will to succeed no matter how hard life can be sometimes. I will always be proud that I attended SHS, because it is where I got my second chance to be the person I want to be today. I believe this school was a blessing to me. Go sabers!
