Coretta Scott King Magnet School

Luckily, I am pulling my kids from this place. Parents talk. This isn't just a problem in one or two grade levels. It is happening all the way down to kindergarten. I know parents with kindergarten students who have told me horror stories about the way one of the teachers speaks to five year old babies and the bullying that goes on unpunished because they are five.

I love CSK! Strongly recommend! I wish the town percentages would change for it but I love it nonetheless

This is a great school. I have two children who attend this school. The IB curriculum is awesome and as a result children receive a well-rounded education that prepares them for middle-school and high school. My only concern are the handful of children will behavioral issues and lack of parental involvement from some parents.

Coretta Scott King Magnet School is an excellent school in a below average school district. Small class sizes, devoted and caring staff, accelerated learning programs, and an abundance of extracurricular activities, make this school top notch. Coretta Scott King Magnet School is an International Baccalaureate Primary Years School aiming to develop inquiring, knowledgeable, and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect. Very pleased with everything my child has learned through the years and am so thankful for us to be a part of this community.
