My daughter comes home crying almost every day telling us that she is constantly bullied (by boys) and teachers do nothing about it. We have had in person conversations with the principals & teachers and NOTHING was done, it is still going on. She also told us teachers completely ignore the bad behavior of the "bad" students, and just a few weeks ago police were called to the school because a boy inappropriately touched a girl. Unreal. We will be looking into a different school district.

I have one child at Jefferson and one who will be there next school year. Jefferson's 7th grade Advanced Reading and Language Arts program is phenomenal. This is the first class that has really challenged my straight A student. The rest of the 7th grade team is great as well!

I currently have two children attending Jefferson and they are both excelling at this school. The staff provides a great environment for learning, they are always looking for new ways to make improvements, and they care about each child's success and well being. There is a lot of school spirit, it's like a middle school family.

Jefferson Middle School has proven to be an excellent school. I currently have two children there and one still at the elementary school. I would recommend this school to anyone. The entire faculty and staff have been helpful, respectful, and truly care about the students. Teachers spend countless hours trying to help each and every student succeed. I still can't believe that parents have negative opinions about a school based on the demographics. Apparently, some still have not lived in the real world. The diversity experienced at the school has made my children better people. Thank you faculty and staff for all that you do!!!!
