H R Mccall Elementary School

My daughter has been going to this school for two years now (1st and 2nd grade) and we have been happy with her progress. She is in the mainstream classrooms with support from the autism special ed teachers coming in to help her. I have had no problems with our yearly IEP meetings. The teachers are easy to reach via the class dojo app and always reach out to us if they see anything concerning going on. There was an incident where a kid might have been bullying our daughter and my husband went to the school to speak to the principal. She took his concerns seriously and let her observe our child at recess to see if it was still happening and take action if necessary. From what my daughter tells me anti bullying is very important at this school. They also spend lots of time using the computer for reading and math apps as well.

My nephew has Autism & this school has a marvelous special ed program & great teachers that work with him.
