I've been in this district since kindergarten. This past year, the school had a huge reconstruction over the summer. This included adding walls, making it much safer, and multiple fire safety doors. The major thing about this school is that it's basicly a huge circle on either sides of the building making nearly impossible to get lost and "hallways" are definetly not like the stereotypical hallways that you see in shows. It's a very small school with all but 2 different classes of mine having far less than 15 kids and it really helps in that teachers know you by name, even teachers you haven't even had, and the administration knows pretty much every student by name making it pretty much impossible to get away with anything (I've seen them hunt down students in the parking lot/buses who should be staying after but thought they could get away with not staying) There is so many more things to say, but the last two has to be that we are all one big happy school family and there hasn't been a single fight/known bullying in somewhere around 2+ years. The last one is that we are in the top 10 of the most improved high schools, performing far better than any of the other rich/more fortunate schools in the area and the school as a while is very passionate about AP testing and there is no limit nor will you be turned away if you want to take an AP class unlike other schools. I highly recommend this school but I must say that it may not be for every student based off of my observations but the staff don't give up and because of this, our graduation rate in 99%. (Sorry for the long and wordy review but it works)

The dedication and interest from the entire school community is unparalleled. Considering our neighbors, we may not have the richest school and we definitely don't have the biggest school, but it is an incredible experience. The emphasis on post school, college or trade, is evident. The principal has done an incredible job.

I like that the school is smaller and everyone (staff, parents,& students) seam to know or know of each other. My High School was to large so that made me feel lost in the shuffle. The kids get to participate on just about everything they go out for.
