This school has recently been torn down and completely replaced w/a new school that is now called Freeman Kennedy School. The school is for grades 3rd-6th. My 2 daughters have both had great experiences with the school and although things haven't always been perfect I have always been able to approach both the administration and teachers & felt as though my concerns have been listened too. The principal is somewhat new & has hd her hands full with new construction over the past few years. I hope that she will be able to remove her hard hat & step back into her role as principal this year. One of the major positives to this school is the amazing band program & it's teacher Mrs. Fouracre. The program starts in 4th grade & is optional. Although my soon to be middle school student will not continue with band, it was a valuable experience & absolutely enhanced her school experience. We've been blessed over the years with many amazing teachers (Ms. Binnette, Mrs. Williamson, Mrs. Teague, Mrs. Fontes) each with different strengths & styles that have always prepared us for the upcoming school grade. Unfortunately, we have had friends that haven't shared in our positive experinces.
