abeerdeen high school is a wonderful school. my child currently attends here and is doing very well. There are tons of after school activities and the sports programs are great. Also sense they have built the new school it seems as if they are going in a new better direction for the good.

I am a recent alumni(2006) and I did not enjoy my time at AHS. The students were uncontrollable and rude, some of the teachers didn't care at all about the classes and the students they taught, and I feel that I was not challenged enough by the coursework.
As a graduate of Aberdeen High, I would never send my child to school there. It is a dangerous environment. There is a lack of real discipline and many teachers seem to be scared of the students, so most classes are a joke.
I am a parent of two children who graduated from AHS. I was so proud of the education they received there, I left a college-teaching career of twenty years to be part of the faculty. While at AHS my children were part of the AP program, athletics and music.
