Halls Cross Roads Elementary School

I have 2 sons that have went and are going to this school. I have had nothing but positive experiences with the teachers and staff. The teachers were all hands on with their students and some even went above and beyond to make sure their students were learning the new math techniques. My favorite teacher there is Ms. Hinton who was my youngest son's 2nd grade teacher. She was a great teacher when he was in her class and even started an after school math program to help the parents learn what was being taught so that we were able to help our kids once they were home. All the teachers have done an excellent job of reaching out to me if and when there were any problems with my kids. I have read reviews where people are speaking about bullying and how bad the kids at this school are and I think that is crazy. First off every child learns behaviors from home first, please don't blame this school or their staff for how some of the kids who attend here are being raised. I will say I love how involved everyone at Hall Cross Rd ES is and they do seem to genuinely care for their students.

this school is a terrible school.we have had nothing but trouble with our child that is a special needs student.after repeactedly going to to school reporting the bulling going on there.things change for a day6 then back to the same stuff with the bulling alll over again.cant wait until my child is out of this school.worst school i have ever seen or heard of.

I went this school as a child and have lived in the area for years. The teachers where good but the students are easy to slip through the cracks. The kids are mean to others (more than most) and horribly behaved. I have heard that this school/ kids are a nightmare. I have moved far, far away, since having a child and never will my daughter go to a school like this. It s very sad but it is the neighborhood and the upbringing of the children around there that cause this school to go down the tubes. I do not suggest living around this area.
