I think the school year is going well, my daughter is in Kindergarten and seems to have all the tools to move to 1st grade.

This school is AWESOME! I came here in Elementary School and I really recommend others to get the high quality education that every child should be able to get. I'm now in high school and now look back at all the happy memories I had in Elementary school.

The administration and teachers are wonderful! They care greatly about the childrens' academics and well being. They work hard to make sure everyone feels like a star! Their motto is, " Where everyone is a star!". I like that!

I really struggle here. I think Hollywood is a great school given the county and the area. That being said there are a lot of teachers who just don't cut it. The administration seems absent. No one is paying attention to what is happening in individual classrooms. No one cares about yelling at students, the number of warnings or checks handed out for the most subjective reasons. Class sizes are huge and not evenly divided. If your kid has a problem with something they will wait to let you know or if they struggle with a concept it's definitely them it's not how they are being taught. I have encountered a number of situations where teachers have been down right rude to students and spoken to them in a way I wouldn't speak to a grown adult let alone a child. There needs to be standards of communication set up and followed that go for everyone not just the kids. Every kid should be treated with respect.
