Great school and teachers really care about their students

This school is amazing! We moved from another state and I was scared for my son to start another school. After the first meet and greet I had no worries ! The school has some old values from when I went to school , such as holiday parties and encouraging music , art, gym and recess! They also have reading and math calendars to do each month and if done the children receive awards ! This is extra stuff the school does to keep the kids reading level and math levels up and the kids love the rewards of extra recess or shore birds tickets! My children have loved every teacher they have had and look forward to school each year! The principle and vice principle greet the children every morning and know names! We had over 700 students last year and I was impressed they knew my children's names! It makes the kids feel special to get a handshake or hello from them each morning. Our school has great security features to ensure safety of the kids. There is always something fun to do at the school such as math carnivals , movie nights or family fun day! Love this school and all of it's staff!

I find this school to be rather unprofessional. My little brother went to read a story only to find out all of the students had to write about the same thing... in the same format. Didn't know this school was all about draining the creativity from children. Also the people there are absolutely horrible, one large woman called my mother white trash in front of everyone and children while one was reading their story aloud and pushing her own child in a stroller and this upsets me greatly. I don't know if it's because of the one tattoo she has or if it was because she was pagan and wore a necklace with an Egyptian ahnk on it, but it was very unnecessary and very rude of her. There were also wants all over the cafeteria. I cannot get over the rudeness of these people and can't get over the fact of how upset my mom was. I don't know how anyone could feel knowing that their mother was so upset that they come to their 17 year old daughter for reassurance. Awful. Just awful.
