This is an incredible school. They make learning fun and they are teaching each child individually and make every kid here want to learn. You are known at this school and feel the community, support, and love every day you walk through the doors. Just ask anyone who has had a child go here!

The environment that the staff at HDGES creates for students cannot be replicated; it’s like walking into Disney world everyday. The admin team is not elusive- they are in the halls greeting children every morning, engaging with them at events, over the summer. The teachers are passionate about their education and support their students in and out of the classroom. HDGES should be a model for all schools in HCPS.

Our kids have been in the school for almost 4 years and I absolutely love the environment in the school. Admins are highly qualified as well as the teachers and supporting staff. Your kid will learn so much more than academics. Your child will have the best experience at HdGES.

Great staff that is dedicated to just more than teaching academics. They foment values and the importance of good citizenship. My kids love to go to school and learn because of the environment of the school.
