Mechanicsville Elementary School

This school was wonderful place to send my two kids.

The entire staff here is pretty great. It is very apparent that they all really care about the children. My son came here from Howard County, he was below grade level when we entered despite everything that I was doing at home. We are finishing up our second year here and he is now well above grade level! His confidence has soared and he is so happy. I don't have to battle for him to do his homework, he comes home and sits down and completes it without any issues at all. He knows what is expected of him and he works so hard to accomplish his goals. Nothing but great things to say about this school!

My school is a very welcoming environment for all kids. There are some great teachers there.

We've had 4 children go through this school. They have done well while attending and beyond because of the educational foundation that MES gave them. Every school is not perfect, but I think MES is one of the best schools in the county. Most parents and teachers are very involved and care for the children very well.
