Fantastic teachers! The people in this community are big fans of the schools, tons of support from local businesses and parent involvement is very high. I've always had positive experiences with the principal and all the teachers. I've put three children through this elementary school and received special help when one child needed intervention, support when a teacher died and tons of encouragement when I was a younger mom. I can't say enough about the teachers-- they really care about every single child. This is a warm, caring environment in which any child would thrive and grow to their highest potential.

I am very pleased with the teachers and staff at George Long, my son is also very happy with the children and teachers. Grass lake has great community involvement and school has a lot of programs to bring the small community together. The technology in the system compared to our sons previous school is out of this world! Wether if it's updates for the community, schedule for students, upcoming sports info for signing up.. So much communication. I also love the website they use when having school party's so there are no guessing on what parent is bringing what for their child's class. The parking/drop off can be a little weird at times but a total trade off.

Don't care for the principal, as she has lied to me regarding a certain instance. Luch helpers take away kids food before their finshed and the parking lot aggravates me. People park and block the handi-cap ramp, and the local cop sits right there in the lot and does nothing about people double parking and other illegal parking offenses. Great teachers though, so that sort of makes up for it. And a good curriculum compared to when I was in elementry school.
