I had an interview with this school recently. The interview itself was fine but the inaction afterward wasn't. I was met with silence afterward and when I reached out I was given zero response. This is very unprofessional for an administration because it is not hard to give someone a simple phone call. Most schools take the time to be courteous to their candidates and let them know either way. Apparently Grass Lake does not.

Grass Lake Middle School is a great place for children to learn, feel safe and develop an academically sound base for high school. There is a great mix of male and female teachers in every grade; providing a variety of teaching styles and mentors to help every child. This school has no bullies because that behavior is not tolerated by the teachers or accepted by the students. My favorite thing about this school is that a few of it's teachers also teach at the high school, giving the ninth graders a familiar, friendly face; and provide them with a mentor through graduation. These teachers really care about your whole child not just their academic performance. I recommend the Grass Lake schools to everyone.

Leadership of Grass Lake Middle school is impressive- you won't find a more dedicated principal anywhere-- she really cares about each and every kid that walks the halls of her school. Middle school is a tough age, but she sets high standards and carefully holds her kids accountable- it's a real balancing act and she pulls it off with class. All the parents and students admire her. Her staff is top notch- great teachers that love teaching middle schoolers! These teachers care, but also know how to challenge kids to get the best work out of them. It's a small school district, but my kids get individual attention and enjoyed some advanced classes. Overall, a great place for your 6-8th grader to stretch their wings!
