Northville High School

Overall, teachers here are great except for a few. Wide array of classes suited for students with different interests. Great selection of extracurricular activities. On another note, I'm glad that progress has started on cracking down on academic dishonesty.

This school is one of the best in Michigan and has an elite football, basketball, and lacrosse team (just to name a few)

Moved from a nearby school district and I feel that the standards are very high, and that my children are getting a very good education. The teachers seem to care about their students and are enthusiastic about their jobs.

The school looks good on paper. However, test scores can be deceiving. As a parent, I believe our teens' emotional safety and security are just as important as high test scores. I don't believe they are doing enough about the amount of bullying happening within the school. If you search the internet, a story was reported by Click on Detroit, January 14, 2014. Just recently, the Northville Record published another incident October 23, 2014. A few families were brave enough to share their stories. However, others remain silent for fear of retaliation. Very sad situation.
