J D Clement Early College High School

This is the best school experience I could have imagined for my children! I have had two children graduate from this school and receive full-ride academic scholarships to college. I have seen countless students follow this path and Ms. Rankins, the school counselor, works really hard to find college scholarship opportunities for her students . This year, she helped her seniors find about 9 million dollars in scholarships. Ms. Taylor, the college liaison, makes sure that the students have at least two years of transferrable college credit when they graduate and a solid path of graduation in two years if they elect to stay at NCCU. This is how education should be! I would give Early College an A+. Kudos to Principal Woods-Weeks and the wonderful faculty and staff.

I would rate my experience here as excellent! I finally found a school where teachers are appreciated and supported. We have the technology and supplies that we need as teachers. We have a technology specialist on site who is available almost immediately when there is an issue. We have great staff members down to our custodian Mr. O. He is loved and appreciated by students and staff. The school's leadership is awesome and students are held at high standards. The atmosphere is positive and the environment is safe. Students have a great support system from teachers, guidance counselors and administration.
