Our experience with this school was short and extremely disappointing! My daughter began 6th grade here when the 19-20 school year began. With in less than two months at this school we chose to homeschool after 6 years of public school. Each time we came into the building there were parents talking about how terrible it was and they wish they could afford to take their kids somewhere else or homeschool them. Some of the stories we were told and overheard were reprehensible. My daughter was caught skipping class 2x because there was a group of kids threatening her. She called me from the class phone which the teach has to punch in the code for them to use and was like please come get me 5 days in a row. Her teacher did not want to discuss why she wanted to leave school so badly. One of the 5 days I missed the call and she left me a voicemail out of breath and shakey saying momma please come help me. I called back after missing her call the gym teacher happened to he in the office and said oh is that Mrs Russell I need to explain why her daughter called, and proceeded to tell me he had to coax my daughter out from under the bleachers after he had to stop two girls who were chasing her telling her they would kill her when they caught her. He only told me he did not report it.This was close to 3 weeks ago and nothing has been done. All this being said I know my daughter is not perfect however she deserves to feel safe. It is worth noting she had never went to the nurse, came home early, or had to call home a single time in the last six years until attending this school.

My son was non stopped bullying by the other kids, to the point they stole my son's property and flushed his pants in a toilet I went up there and nothing got done. Then we were moving went to take him out made me wait 1 hour for his paperwork while other people doing same thing went before me. I got my paperwork and said give me my child. This school is the worst school I have ever had to deal with. Trying to talk to the administration good luck never happens.

Many of the staff here are great, but the kids are a bit rotten to each other. I'm sure much of it is prepubescent stupidity (we've all been there), but ignorance doesn't make it right. The EC teachers are all wonderful and love their kids, but "give 'em an inch, they'll take a mile" is a great way to sum up what happens when you leave an EC kid alone with non-disabled kids. Bullying was pretty bad... Every year, there has been that ONE kid who cornered my son. Every year, so far, my son has had to dominate someone in PE outside of the EC class who had picked a fight with him just so that he could have a peaceful school year... That doesn't mean he wasn't bullied, but at least he's not getting punched in the face. I believe most of the staff to be good people, and I have seen how much they love their students, but those kids need to be reigned in somehow... I wish them the best of luck with that endeavor, as I know it isn't easy. The staff have my respect and shared frustration.

Worst school and staff ever. My son was threatened and told he would be beat up on a Friday. SRO nor admin did anything. Sadly my son had to beat a kid up for bullying because the staff doesn't care. Teachers are more interested in hooking up with the 24 year old brother than teaching. They are rude and the kids run school. -10 on a scale of 1 to 5.....don't send your child here.
