Over the years, my sons attended four different CMS elementary schools. Blythe was HANDS DOWN the BEST of the four schools. My younger son attended Blythe from 2nd-5th grade and we could not have been happier. There is so much to love about this school: the diversity, the IB inquiry-oriented curriculum, the amazing teachers, the engaging clubs, the challenging TD program, etc. My son grew intellectually, socially, and emotionally while at Blythe and made life-long friends. He's now in middle school (go JMA!) and is thriving. Moving him to Blythe was one of the best decisions we ever made!

This one of the worst schools in the CMS system. My daughter 2nd grade teacher yelled the entire year. She was very mean and lazy. My child was an accelerated student and her teacher refused to meet her needs. The principals (assistants included) are horrible. They don't know CMS grading policies Watch your child's grade from K-2, if your child is above level. The child is suppose to get a 4 but will receive a 3. If you interested in child's education do not send them to this school.

I went to Blythe from Kindergarten to Second Grade. My parents weren't too excited, as they hoped we were zoned for Huntersville. The teachers are ok with the average kind one, but other than that, there are a lot of kids at the school. One good thing I guess was the fact they were able to AIG test me(which I passed) but then without even telling my parents, threw me into "Friday Friends" for the students with social issues. Apparently my mom didn't know until I told her this year (I'm going into 7th) Honestly. Only send your child here if you have too. Then you should keep looking for charter schools, and hope your child gets in. (Luckily I was saved by CCS)
