West Mcdowell Junior High School

I am in 7th grade at West McDowell Middle School and I would not want to go anywhere other than here. All the staff are very nice and know the answers to almost every single question. A special shout out to Mrs. Gowan a seventh-grade math teacher. She has been battling with sickness after sickness and still in her absence she can answer any questions a student has via email. I would recommend this school for any rising sixth graders to rising eighth graders.

it is bad and i do not like it

It's a pretty good school and I have to admit, over the past three years, I have had some GREAT teachers who have definitely made my education a LOT better. West has an amazing band program and a very strong Battle of the Books team (great coaches) and plenty of sports. I have enjoyed all three of my years at West McDowell and will miss it greatly next year.
