My son is in his second year at Rocky River (K and now first grade) and we have had a great experience so far. The teachers and staff are very attentive and they do a lot of activities to help get the parents and families involved in the kids' education. They take security very seriously too, which is very important to me.

Some background on my family: I removed my kids from public education and chose to homeschool because there were no private schools in the area I lived before and the public school did not meet my standards. When we moved here I decided to let the kids try public school since it was a different school system. The kids love it. Not only do the kids love it, but I love it. The teachers are well spoken, able to really discuss my kids' performance after only the first week, and have gone to great lengths to understand what my kids need in terms of education as well as emotional support. That isn't easy for anyone to accommodate considering that my kids are used to undivided attention, much less someone who is dealing with an entire classroom full of kids, so hats of to the RRE faculty :)

Rocky River is an amazing school that works very hard to meet the needs of each and every student. They have high expectations for staff. If you ever have any problems of concerns, you can talk with the teacher or Principal's and they will work to resolve any issues.

I have to agree with the previous posts. My experience has been the same. I have not had one good experience here. This school should be investigated!! I wish I was able to walk in and listen to what my daughter's teacher says to her. The things She comes home and tells me are unthinkable. When I contact the teacher she always has a different story. Then tell me why she is failing and why is it that she does not get to eat her snack when the other class does. I could not believe the bullying these children go through. Then I had met the assistant principle and realized it comes from the top down. They will cover up for their teachers. THIS SCHOOL DOES NEED TO BE INVESTIGATED!!!! I would give you zero stars.
