South Newton Elementary

South Newton is an amazing school that embraces the students, and creates a leader out of each and every student who walks through the doors. The staff is also wonderful. Teachers are helpful and prepare the students for the EOG's. This school is truly the best school ever!

Since this school became a Leader in Me school, students are taking ownership over their learning and actions. This school is like a family. The school has strong leadership, and they are using their new school space constructively to provide opportunities for all students.

South Newton has adopted "The Leader in Me" school philosophy. We have seen tremendous growth in the students' behavior and academic achievement. Students are encouraged to develop good leadership skills as they work to reach their fullest potential. I would definitely put my children at South Newton!

South Newton has become a Leader In Me school. Leader In Me is more than a program it becomes a way of life that encourages everyone to find and utilize their leadership skills. Every student has leadership potential in various areas of life, South Newton supports the development of those skills. Our staff, truly cares about the students and their families. Many times our efforts are above and beyond others you will find in Education. We love and support each other as well as our students, families, and community. I am proud to be a South Newton Tiger...hear us ROAR!!!
