I would rate this school a 9 out of 10.

If you have a child with special needs, they beat around the bush for getting all the help they need. They are wondeful for advocating you dope your children up with ADD medication. This is a bad school if your African American with a special needs child.

Great experience at this school with both my kids. Positive teachers and lots of help with intervention and such. They were really on top of it all 3 years my daughter attended. I'm happy to be back with my next child.

Southern Pines Primary is a great place to bee! The teachers are wonderful! They are invested in each child. The teachers there do not have much time to call their own during a typical teaching day. They are teaching, monitoring, listening, or giving hugs! There are wonderful reading programs that touch all if the children so that they have an opportunity to read! The overall climate is welcoming where children feel safe and supported. Emphasis on reading and math skills is made but not without losing sight of the overall child so that there is time for music, art and play!
